Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress.
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to ensure effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, therapy sessions, and assessments.
- Adhere to all state, federal, and district guidelines and regulations.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current SLP license in the state of Kansas.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
