Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Part Time Hours

Minimum 1 years speech therapy experience required.

Position Overview

Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time position in Kansas City, KS. The position is for 3 days per week and will continue through the end of the current school year. The SLP will provide speech and language services to students in a school setting, working closely with a team of educators and staff to support students' communication needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress.
• Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to ensure effective communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, therapy sessions, and assessments.
• Adhere to all state, federal, and district guidelines and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license in the state of Kansas.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  
  

Compensation

This is a contract position through Soliant Education, with competitive hourly pay based on experience.
