Position Overview
- Location: Schools in the Havertown, PA area
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Pay Structure: Competitive hourly rate with weekly guaranteed pay for both direct and indirect services provided
- Benefits Package: Full-time employees receive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs, set goals, and determine eligibility for services.
- Individualized Therapy: Design and implement therapy plans tailored to each students needs, using evidence-based practices to maximize progress.
- IEP Development: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring goals align with academic and social needs.
- Progress Tracking: Regularly monitor and document each students progress, adjust strategies as needed, and communicate updates with families and educators.
- Collaborative Support: Work alongside teachers, school psychologists, and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification: ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Licensure: Valid Pennsylvania SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience: School-based experience is preferred but not required; we welcome recent graduates ready to make a difference
