Position Details
- Location: Kewanee, IL
- Job Type: Full-time, School-Based
- Start Date: Immediate or upcoming school year
- Caseload: Elementary to high school students (specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview)
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
- Provide individual or group speech therapy to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure student success
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Educate students, teachers, and parents on speech-language issues and strategies for improvement
- Participate in meetings and IEP reviews as needed
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois state SLP license
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
