Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based Position in Kewanee, IL

Minimum 1 years speech therapy experience required.

Soliant is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Kewanee, IL. This role will allow you to make a positive impact on the lives of students by providing essential speech therapy services to help them develop strong communication skills in an academic setting.

Position Details

• Location: Kewanee, IL
• Job Type: Full-time, School-Based
• Start Date: Immediate or upcoming school year
• Caseload: Elementary to high school students (specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview)
  
  

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to identify speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
• Provide individual or group speech therapy to students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure student success
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records
• Educate students, teachers, and parents on speech-language issues and strategies for improvement
• Participate in meetings and IEP reviews as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois state SLP license
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
