Position Overview
We are looking for a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Morris, MN. Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students needs and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals.
- Provide direct therapy services for students with speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure therapy goals are integrated into the classroom environment.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and provide input on students progress and goals.
- Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to meet their individual needs.
- Educate parents and caregivers on how to reinforce therapy techniques at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Minnesota state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for licensure).
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain organized documentation.
