Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services to K-12 students in the Englewood, FL area. As an SLP, you will assess and treat students with munication and speech disorders, helping them thrive academically and socially. You'll be part of a collaborative team, working with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Design and implement therapy plans that target a range of munication skills.
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions within the school setting.
- Work closely with educators and parents to support student progress.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing insights for student goal setting.
- Ensure pliance with school and state policies regarding therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Florida SLP licensure.
- Experience with K-12 students preferred.
- Excellent munication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
