Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
For SLP:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current California state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Bachelors or Associates degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Current California state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
