This position involves working with K-6 students to help them develop effective munication skills and overe speech and language difficulties. Youll be part of a collaborative team, working alongside educators and parents to help students achieve success in their academic and personal development.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Conduct evaluations to identify students speech and language challenges, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs, with a focus on speech, language, fluency, and social munication.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate speech therapy strategies into the school environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and updates on students' progress toward their speech and language goals.
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and municate effectively with parents and school staff.
