Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Opportunity K-2 Caseload Near Bloomfield, CT

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work in a school district near Bloomfield, CT. This position involves providing support to students in kindergarten through second grade. The assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-2 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Assist in implementing therapy plans and individualized education program (IEP) goals.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress for each student.
• Provide support in developing students communication skills in individual and small group settings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current SLPA licensure or certification in Connecticut.
• Experience working with young children or within a school-based setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a consistent full-time schedule (35 hours per week).
