Soliant Education is seeking a skilled SLPA for a full-time position in Holyoke, MA. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in implementing and executing individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders.
• Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of the SLP, focusing on improving students' articulation, fluency, and overall language development.
• Monitor and document students' progress, providing regular feedback and updates to the supervising SLP and school personnel.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting and support students' communication needs.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay updated on best practices and strategies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid SLPA license or certification in Massachusetts.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or a related field.
• Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and progress tracking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
