Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in implementing and executing individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of the SLP, focusing on improving students' articulation, fluency, and overall language development.
- Monitor and document students' progress, providing regular feedback and updates to the supervising SLP and school personnel.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting and support students' communication needs.
- Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay updated on best practices and strategies.
- Valid SLPA license or certification in Massachusetts.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or a related field.
