Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor and maintain sterile techniques during procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide necessary instruments and supplies efficiently.
• Document surgical procedures and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
  
  

Requirements

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience.
• Active Tennessee state license or eligibility to obtain one.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
