Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring proper instrumentation and equipment are readily available.
- Maintain a sterile field and follow all surgical protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized cardiovascular OR equipment.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Document procedures and maintain compliance with facility standards.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a CVOR setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
