Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and oversee the medication management process.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective and safe medication therapy.
- Provide patient education on medication use and potential side effects.
- Conduct medication reconciliations and assist with therapeutic drug monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including those related to USP 797 and 800 sterile compounding.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy
- Licensed Pharmacist in Iowa
- PharmD or RPh degree required
- Minimum of two years experience in an acute care setting or completion of an ASHP-approved residency preferred
- Trained in USP 797 and 800 sterile compounding
- Weekly pay through direct deposit (W2)
- Eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance
