Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Staff Pharmacist for an exciting 13-week travel assignment at a hospital in Iowa. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a significant impact in a healthcare setting while exploring a new location.

Position: Inpatient Staff Pharmacist (Travel)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13 weeks

Setting: Hospital - Inpatient

Schedule: Variable Shifts

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications and oversee the medication management process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective and safe medication therapy.
• Provide patient education on medication use and potential side effects.
• Conduct medication reconciliations and assist with therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including those related to USP 797 and 800 sterile compounding.
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy
• Licensed Pharmacist in Iowa
• PharmD or RPh degree required
• Minimum of two years experience in an acute care setting or completion of an ASHP-approved residency preferred
• Trained in USP 797 and 800 sterile compounding
