Position Overview:
As an IR Tech, you will assist with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This travel role allows you to bring your expertise to a new team while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Assist physicians during procedures by providing sterile instruments and supplies.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies during procedures.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Document patient care and procedure details accurately in medical records.
- Ensure the IR suite is clean, organized, and ready for the next procedure.
Qualifications:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology with IR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Proficiency in vascular, neurological, and other interventional procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and protocols.
