Job Description
As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Operate MRI equipment and adjust settings to capture clear and accurate images
- Review images for quality and clarity, and relay findings to the appropriate medical personnel
- Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and educating patients about the procedure
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care
- ARRT certification in MRI
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
- Active state licensure in Kentucky
- BLS certification
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Willingness to travel and work in new environments
