Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests.
• Administer treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication delivery, and ventilator management.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and equipment usage.
  
  

Qualifications

• Active RRT credential from the NBRC.
• Active licensure in New York or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
