Position Overview:
As a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), you will be responsible for assisting in a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring the operating room is sterile and prepared, and providing support to the surgical team. This travel position offers an exciting opportunity to make an impact while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field and surgical instruments for procedures.
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff during operations by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies.
- Ensure patient safety by maintaining the sterile environment and monitoring equipment during surgeries.
- Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for surgical procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation of surgical supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
