You will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, capturing high-quality diagnostic images, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate MRI equipment to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for MRI scans, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Position patients correctly and ensure they remain still during imaging to capture precise results.
- Monitor and maintain the MRI equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure patient and team safety, including monitoring for MRI contraindications.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and analyze images.
- Document and maintain accurate patient records.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (required).
- ARRT (MRI) certification (required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist (preferred).
- Current BLS certification (required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.
- Duration: 13-week travel assignment with potential extensions.
- Schedule: Full-time; may include rotating or on-call shifts.
