What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Research Engineer, Embedded Software position at SOLiD Gear Inc?
We seek a highly motivated and technically qualified individual to join our NTIA NOFO 2 SRFA 1 Development Team.
The Principal Research Engineer, Embedded Software will oversee the Software development.
This position will work closely with R&D managers and System, Hardware, and Software engineers.
Travel : Up to 20% as required

Reporting to the VP of R&D, this position is a key contributor to SOLiD's continued growth and success.
Duties will include the following :
Responsibilities
- Embedded software and BSP (Board Support Program) development
- Setup the software development environment, including installing software development servers and tools
- Support system integrity test and debugging
- Source code to be modified for debugging i.e., enrich the ‘log’ function
- Open RAN interface protocol (eCPRI, Split 7.2., SyneE / PTP software design and development)
