Now hiring for a Data Center Technicians / Cable Technician to work at a Data Center in Austin, TX.
Requirements :
- At least 3-5 plus years of experience as a Data Cable Technician.
- Strong background in installing and troubleshooting structured cabling systems in retail environments.
- Experience working with Copper and Fiber. (CAT5 / 6)
- Fiber splicing is a huge plus!
- Rack and stacking experience for Data Centers
- Must know cabling infrastructure.
- Great communication skills; verbal and written.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Experience reading blueprints and site maps.
- Knowledgeable of color coding.
- PPE, telecommunication tools, and hand tools.
- Pass a background check
- Reliable transportation.
