Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with potential clients, and expanding our presence in the market. This individual will develop and implement strategies to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The ideal candidate is a proactive, goal-oriented professional with a strong background in sales, client relations, and business growth within the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing sectors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, property managers, developers, and other key decision-makers.
- Generate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and referrals.
- Present and promote company services to potential clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing with clients while ensuring profitability.
- Work closely with the operations and service teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine business strategies.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to company leadership.
- Develop marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and community functions.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in the plumbing, HVAC, construction, or related industry).
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing sales.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of plumbing services or a willingness to learn industry-specific details.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
