We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring proper sanitation.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Carry out custodial duties in accordance with established procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management to address urgent cleaning needs.
- Monitor cleaning supplies inventory and report when stock is low to ensure availability of necessary materials.
Skills
- Experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and floor care practices.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment consistently.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is a plus.
- Skills in residential painting or porter duties are advantageous but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
