Responsibilities
The Construction Project Manager's responsibilities are to manage relationships with key stakeholders, create benchmarks for success and deliverables (including managing budgets) and plan work assignments that meet deadlines requirements while considering changes in budget or scope during the execution of the contract.
- Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Hire & supervise subcontractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Create client estimates, contracts and handle change orders using Docusign
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Upload contracts & necessary documents into PM sheet
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
- Keeping detailed notes in project management computer software
- 6 years experience as construction project manager
- Interpreting blueprints
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Outstanding communication
- In-depth understanding of project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Good knowledge of Google Suite
- Good knowledge of Docusign
- Familiarity with construction/ project management software
- A team player with leadership abilities
- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
