Position Overview:
The Mitigation Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the mitigation department's operations, ensuring water, fire, mold, and other mitigation projects are handled efficiently and effectively. This position involves team supervision, compliance, client communication, and driving results to uphold company standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all mitigation projects to ensure proper execution, timeliness, and quality.
- Coordinate inspections, work scopes, and schedules to ensure efficiency.
- Provide clear communication to homeowners, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise and train mitigation technicians, fostering a strong and productive team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and Solid Restoration's procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation through DASH, including notes, photos, and updates.
- Monitor project budgets, labor, and materials to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments (estimating and project management) to streamline workflows.
- Resolve conflicts and issues with a solution-driven mindset.
- Ensure company equipment and vehicles are maintained and accounted for.
- 3 years of experience in mitigation/restoration management.
- IICRC certifications in WRT, ASD, or similar (additional certifications preferred).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in industry software (DASH, Xactimate) is a plus.
- Understanding of insurance claims processes and TPA guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
