Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teacher's Aide to support our teaching staff in providing a nurturing and engaging educational environment for students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the classroom, providing individualized support to students, and contributing to the overall success of our school.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing educational activities and lessons
- Provide individualized support to students with varying needs, including special needs and English language learners
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful learning environment
- Assist with preparing materials, setting up classrooms, and maintaining a clean and organized learning space
- Support teachers in implementing behavior management strategies to ensure student safety and well-being
- Participate in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Engage with students through play-based activities, games, and other interactive strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with teachers to identify and address student learning gaps
- Assist with supervising students during recess, lunch, and other activities
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents regarding student progress and concerns
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students as needed
Requirements
- Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities
- Experience in a private school setting
- Ability to assist with classroom management and behavior management
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with childcare or working with children
- Ability to educate and engage students in a fun and interactive manner
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
