Senior Doors, Frames & Hardware (DFH) Detailer Location: Houston or Dallas, TX (Remote options available for PT/MT/CT zones)

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior DFH Detailer with proven COMSENSE proficiency to manage complex commercial projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities: • Create detailed shop drawings and submittal packages using COMSENSE software • Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors • Develop hardware schedules and door schedules • Perform material takeoffs and quantity calculations • Review and validate project specifications • Mentor junior detailers and provide technical guidance • Maintain project documentation and revision control
Required Qualifications: • 5 years of experience in commercial DFH detailing • Advanced proficiency with COMSENSE software • Strong understanding of building codes and ADA requirements • DHI certification preferred • Experience with hollow metal frames, wood doors, and architectural hardware • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and collaboration abilities • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Technical Skills: • COMSENSE expertise • AutoCAD proficiency • Microsoft Office Suite • Experience with construction management software
Work Environment: • In-office position available in Denver, CO or Hawthorne, CA • Remote work options available for candidates in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones • Full-time position with standard business hours
