POSITION: Senior Electrical Estimator LOCATION: Sioux Falls, South Dakota

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Join a leading electrical contractor in the growing Sioux Falls market. Our client has established themselves as an innovative leader in design-build electrical contracting, specializing in commercial and multi-family projects.

POSITION SUMMARY: We're seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their preconstruction team. This role offers an 80/20 split between estimating and project management responsibilities, focusing on design-build projects using Conest software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead design-build electrical estimating efforts
• Perform detailed takeoffs using Conest software
• Develop value engineering solutions
• Review plans and specifications
• Coordinate with project teams and clients
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Participate in project handoff meetings
• Support project management initiatives (20%)
• Mentor junior team members
• Collaborate with design teams
  
  

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years electrical estimating experience
• Proficiency in Conest software
• Strong design-build project background
• Commercial and multi-family project experience
• Excellence in reading and interpreting plans
• Strong industry relationships
• Value engineering expertise
• Effective communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with analytical skills
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the Sioux Falls market
• Design-build project leadership
• Knowledge of current industry trends
