Position Summary:
The Production Technician is responsible for supporting production operations through set-up and operation of process equipment and conducting procedures for existing processes according to SOP, helping test and establish new processes and techniques, assisting operators and other personnel, and performing other various duties as required.

Annualized Salary: $41,600-52,000 per year ($20-25 per hour)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

Position Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitates product flow through production operations such as Leak Test, Cleaning, Furnace, etc
- Rotates between departments and jobs on an as-needed basis
- Supports cost reduction efforts by preventing waste and reducing scrap costs
- Completes assignments on schedule while meeting or exceeding quality requirements
- Reads drawings, work instructions, and referenced documentation to determine requirements
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and helps resolve issues within job scope on equipment, fixtures, and/or products; uses precision instruments (e.g. micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.) to make applicable adjustments
- Assists Engineering efforts with tasks related to development, construction and evaluation of prototypes, new products, operations, and/or documentation, as required
- Advances product to downstream operations according to work instructions
- Records completion of work steps, rework, and scrap transactions in computer system
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local requirements/regulations and best practices
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in industrial technologies or other technical degree required. Advanced degree, training, or certification(s) preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment required
- Ability to closely follow written and/or verbal direction
- Willingness to assist others
- Team skills, including ability to work independently in teams and collaborate with others
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of manual dexterity.
