Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll Off Driver to join our team. As a Roll Off Driver, you will be responsible for operating roll off truck to transport and deliver roll off containers to designated locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires manual labor and heavy lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate roll off truck
- Transport and deliver roll off containers to specified locations
- Secure containers properly using straps or chains
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck daily and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs
- Assist with loading and unloading containers as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class B
-Professional attire a must, will be required to wear hard hat and safety vest outside of truck
- Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Roll Off Driver or similar role
- Proficient in operating vehicles with manual transmissions
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and lift heavy objects
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
-MUST be willing to work some weekends and travel / stay out of town when needed. Home most nights.
