Concrete Estimator, for a Public Works Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator to provide accurate bid proposals and scope analysis for Public Works concrete projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Thoroughly review job bid instructions, detailed specifications, and prepare a comprehensive 'take off' of materials included in the project.
- Develop precise estimates of Concrete, labor, materials, equipment costs, etc., to create a thorough price estimate.
- Review proposals, specifications, drawings, and participate in pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and develop quantity take-offs if it is necessary.
- Ensure safety is integrated into means and methods decision making during the estimating phase.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors & Field Employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with owners and general contractors.
