Job Responsibilities
As a Recycle Technician II, you will be responsible for:
- Sorting and categorizing recyclable materials such as plastics, metals, paper, and glass.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the recycling facility.
- Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conducting regular inspections of incoming materials for quality and contamination.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily processing goals.
You will work under the direction of an experienced employee or foreman and will be required to adapt to different working environments and locations.
Working Conditions
This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting. You will be exposed to adverse environmental conditions, including extreme heat or cold, dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, animals/wildlife, toxic/poisonous agents, violence, disease, or pathogenic substances.
