What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Studio Opening Manager position at [solidcore]?
Based in Chicago, IL and reporting to the Director of Operations, the New Studio Opening Manager oversees all operational aspects of the new studio opening process, working with the operations team, development team, field leadership, and other cross-functional partners to ensure the successful opening of all new studios assigned to them. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert in the overall [solidcore] experience and ensure every element communicates the [solidcore] vision. They will motivate and inspire the new studio teams to create the best experience for all [solidcore] clients while being protective of, and working to spread, the [solidcore] culture. When not working within a new studio opening process, you will be contributing to the [solidcore] operations team and coaching classes within their local market.
You'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
- Maintaining physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
- Receiving, managing, and processing work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly.
- Acting as a liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.
- Drafting and implementing preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
- Ensuring safety standards are followed throughout the facility.
- Participating in emergency preparedness planning team.
- Applying, or assisting with the application, for required environmental permits.
- Maintaining inventory of supplies; reorders as needed.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- Addressing facilities/equipment-related work orders as they enter the queue, ensuring that work orders are maintained and that they are resolved in a timely manner.
- Answering facilities/equipment-related phone calls/emails and addressing issues as they are reported.
- Assisting with the coordination and scheduling of preventative maintenance activities.
- Provide direction and information to vendors, operations, and service providers as required to ensure excellent coordination and successful execution of work within the studio/client environment.
- Properly and effectively administer and maintain all security systems.
- Assist the Training Team with new coach training coordination
- Assist with budgetary requests, analysis, and reporting.
- Assist with researching, analyzing, and reporting budget variances.
- Assist with tracking parts deliveries and inventory.

It will be helpful if you possess the following:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Ability to proficiently use a PC or Mac
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

- Facilities-specific knowledge/background is NOT required
