Concessions Cook

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities may vary based on location and client requirements.
• Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes following production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Set up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely handle various utensils, including knives, and operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
• Utilize various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming for meat, vegetables, and other food items.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established standards.
• Adhere to food safety policies and procedures for proper food storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards guests, customers, and coworkers.
• Follow Aramark safety policies and procedures, including accurate food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ensure the security of company assets.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations, including accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Proficiency in basic math and counting.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing. Additionally, uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
