What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Systems Engineer position at Solidus Technical Solutions?
Solidus is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer to join our systems engineering team. Our Engineers support technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel. They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, system capability and feature designs, defining system interfaces and acceptance criteria. In this role, the candidate will provide engineering support for the implementation of a portion of the program’s systems engineering.

The position is full time, on-site in Richardson TX.
Day in the life :
- Collaborate with the multi-discipline engineering teams to design and develop software
- Assist in providing technical information and clarification during the entire software development lifecycle; from conceptualization and design to development, testing, deployment, and operations
- Perform solution decomposition from customer epics, to capabilities, to features, to stories according to SAFe Agile practices
- Apply systems engineering expertise to feature designs to reduce overall risk to the software development effort
- Engage with SMEs from other disciplines to fully understand the solution and document the designs.
