Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your leadership skills and ability to manage budgets effectively will be key to driving store performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and staffing.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Train, mentor, and supervise store employees to ensure high standards of performance and service.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
- Manage store budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for customers.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail management role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with customers.
- Proficient in budgeting and basic math skills for financial management.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to better serve our diverse customer base.
- Strong phone etiquette for effective communication with customers and vendors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
