Solomon Schools is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head High School Volleyball Coach to lead our established, competitive program. Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership:
- Oversee all aspects of the high school volleyball program, including practice planning, game strategy, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with junior high coaches to ensure a seamless transition and continuity in player development.
- Mentor assistant coaches and staff to promote a cohesive coaching team.

Athlete Development:
- Train and develop student-athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the court.
- Implement age-appropriate training programs, focusing on skill development, physical conditioning, and mental toughness.
- Foster an environment that emphasizes academic success, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Game Strategy and Management:
- Design and execute effective game plans tailored to opponent strengths and team capabilities.
- Analyze game footage and statistics to continuously improve team performance.
- Adjust tactics and strategies in real-time during competitions.

Community and Parent Engagement:
- Act as an ambassador for the volleyball program within the school community.
- Engage with parents, guardians, and local stakeholders to promote team events and support fundraising initiatives.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain compliance with school district policies, athletic regulations, and safety protocols.
- Manage program budgets, equipment procurement, and facility scheduling.
Qualifications:
- We have ELA, Math, FACS, and other options for teaching (not required).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of head coaching experience in high school volleyball or related experiences.
- Experience working with junior high or youth programs, highlighting effective development and transition strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of volleyball strategies, rules, and training methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment.
