We are hiring an Assistant Merchandiser to join a top entertainment company in Orlando, FL.
- This position will run for 7 months with potential to extend and will be based in office on a hybrid schedule (Monday – Thursday onsite, Friday remote)
Responsibilities :
Assist in creating the product strategy for a collection of products or initiatives for a CategoryResearch, organize findings, assemble input from key partners and prepare presentation decks, briefs and recaps for key milestone meetingsEstablish perspective on what’s working and why to consistently improve product lineDemonstrated passion for consumer and product trendsDeliver all item set up information within designated global systems across vertical channelsAttend cross functional team meetings to assist with the input / output of communicationCoordinate samples among key partners and room set ups for product showcasesManage updates and maintenance of the Range PlanPrepare and maintain catalog of merchandise by quarter (photobooks)Achieve our diversity and inclusion goals through professional growthAssist with other Merchandising team projects as neededRequired Qualifications :
1 year of progressive experience in corporate merchandisingPLM experience idealInterest in building a product line for a category or categories of businessStrategic thinker with the ability to drive execution against a planStrong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationships with key partnersStrong Team Player – The ability to build & foster collaborative partnerships across functions & departmentsWell-developed verbal and written communication skillsPassion for retail and brand merchandisingFlexible and adaptable with a demonstrated ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environmentDemonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize workload and concurrently manage multiple projectsHigh level of attention to detail; proactive, with strong follow through skillsDemonstrated positive attitude with the ability to be responsive to feedback and pivot based on changing organization prioritiesDemonstrated personal initiative skills in the workplace, with willingness to learn new skills and processesIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
