What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Accounts Receivable Accountant position at Solomon Page?
Our client, a growing construction company, is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Accountant. This is a hybrid position located at their offices in San Fernando.
- This is a full time, permanent position, $65-75k/yr.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve billing variances
- Reconcile sales and accounts receivable
- Prepare/request release waivers and certificates of insurance
- Creates/submits monthly invoices promptly for contracted/subcontracted work performed.
- Reviews/validate change order requests (CORs) and create/submits invoices promptly.
- Contacts customers routinely by email, telephone, and correspondence regarding past due amounts outstanding over sixty (60) days until collected.
Required Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Construction Accounting experience is a must.
