A high-end food hall in Long Island City is seeking a Temporary Food & Beverage Supervisor with an administrative focus to support their dynamic team of F&B professionals. This role combines customer service, operational support, and administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Schedule : Tuesday-Saturday, 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM (Subject to change)
Responsibilities :
Ensure a memorable guest experience by promptly addressing customer issues and concerns.Serve as a main point of contact for guests, vendors, and staff, offering assistance as needed.Provide professional communication over the phone and in person, ensuring clarity and courtesy.Drive sales through excellent customer service and hospitality.Create and follow up on work orders using the Angus building operations app, ensuring timely completion.Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dining area, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.Manage triple seat inquiries, ensuring efficient organization and a 24-hour response time.Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams) for communication and administrative tasks.Communicate effectively with the General Manager (GM) and PMO, addressing operational issues as they arise.Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management or supervisors.Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and company policies.Qualifications :
Current NYC Food Handler's License required.Previous experience in a dining environment with administrative responsibilities preferred.Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Outgoing personality with a positive, proactive attitude.Ability to work cooperatively within a team, with a strong sense of urgency and punctuality.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.Must have open availability (current schedule : Tuesday-Saturday, 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM; subject to change).Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods.Compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene policies and standards.Must be able to stand for extended periods and move around in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly.The work environment requires both stationary and active tasks, with a focus on customer service, team collaboration, and meeting operational goals.Diversity and inclusion are central to our client's culture, and all team members are expected to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
