Our client is looking to fill the role of FP&A Manager. The FP&A Manager will drive financial performance through in-depth analysis, strategic planning and business insights. The role focuses on product performance, customer profitability and cost management, playing a crucial part in identifying growth opportunities and enhancing profitability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US market dynamics and substantial experience in financial analysis within the Consumer Goods industry, contributing to achieving the company’s strategic business goals.
- $140,000 - $160,000 bonus benefits
Responsibilities:
- Analyze revenue, profitability, expenses and cash flow, with a focus on product and customer profitability.
- Monitor customer and channel performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead analysis of category and brand profitability, customer rebates and cost control.
- Manage annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and aligning with business goals.
- Build financial models for decision-making, including forecasting and budgeting.
- Evaluate business cases for new products, pricing strategies and market expansion.
- Analyze market trends, industry dynamics and financial risks to guide strategy and growth.
- Work with Sales, Marketing and Operations to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Mentor a direct report, fostering professional development and collaboration within the finance team.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting.
- Excel, SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau.
- Experience with A&P ROI analysis, new product business case development and pricing strategy.
- Familiarity with consumer behavior trends and channel profitability analysis.
