Our client, a well-established company in the restaurant industry, is looking for a Junior Accountant to start right away. This role operates fully onsite in their Austin, Texas location.
Responsibilities:
- Timely preparation of journal entries
- AR processing
- Data entry of purchase orders and invoices
- Account analysis and reports
- Perform light accounting research and understand technical accounting issues as needed to execute on primary job responsibilities
- Additional duties as needed and directed
Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience
- Proficient in Excel
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and research skills and ability to produce results under deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
