We are looking for a freelance Product Development Coordinator for a top fashion company in New York, NY!
Responsibilities:
- Individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of prototype products.
- Monitors overall development process for product line.
- Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners.
- Creates and updates seasonal composite sheets and classification charts.
- Coordinates work flow of weekly updates to ensure composites are used as a timely communication tool with vendors, production, technical and merchandising. -Tracks development to assure execution is within timeframes.
- Communicates design development details.
- Drive product life cycle for intimates space with 2 others, reporting into a director.
- Typically reports to Product Development Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years product design/development experience.
- Organized
- Product background
- Costing analysis skills, management skills, category ownership a plus
