What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Coordinator position at Solomon Page?
We are looking for a freelance Product Development Coordinator for a top fashion company hybrid in New York, NY!
Responsibilities:
- Individual contributor responsible for coordinating the development of products.
- Monitors overall development process for product line.
- Acts as point person on development details with vendor partners and cross functional teams.
- Creates and updates seasonal development charts, WIPs, readiness decks, etc.
- Coordinates work flow of weekly updates to ensure timely communication with vendors, production, technical and merchandising.
- Tracks development to assure execution is within timeframes.
- Communicates design development details.
- Typically reports to Product Development Manager.
- Meetings with design team, updating Bill of Materials, working on product development projects, maintaining costing charts and tools for merchants/planning reference
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years product design/development experience.
- CentricPLM experience a plus.
- Detail oriented, organized and team player.
