The successful candidate will work under the radiation oncologist to develop and monitor patients' progress throughout the duration of radiotherapy treatments. The radiation therapist will communicate effectively with patients and research new treatment methods to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them about treatment options and outcomes.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy or related field.
- Current certification as a radiation therapist (RTT) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
