Schechter Boston is looking for a dynamic and engaging long term substitute teacher to teach Grade 7 math for the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year.
Job Description:
- Design, plan and implement math lessons that motivate students and create active learning experiences.
- Prepare and implement differentiated instruction, activities and assessments that meet the needs of every student.
- Build relationships with all students, so they are actively engaged in the classroom activities
- Create and maintain a safe, well-structured physical environment that is conducive to student learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in math-related field required.
- Minimum of two years experience teaching students, preferably in a middle school setting.
- Exemplary teaching skills.
