Position Summary : The UX Program Manager will set design standards for the team and train and support the team in UX (User Experience) best practices. They will review work, provide guidance, and collaborate closely with product management and engineering. This role includes traditional management duties such as planning budgets and timelines, monitoring progress on deliverables, and presenting to leadership.
Essential Duties :
- Collaborate and communicate with various external product teams to deliver strategic counsel, ensuring quality and efficiency across their portfolio.
- Partner with design and research leads to provide input on scope, resourcing, and sequencing of work for projects.
- Coordinate and facilitate UX activities throughout the project lifecycle for various initiatives.
- Maintain familiarity with the design system and work across product teams to advocate for its value.
- Provide operational strategy for sophisticated problems associated with a growing organization and limited design resources.
- Identify team needs regarding process, tools, documentation, and asset management; drive changes to ensure designers work efficiently.
- Proactively assess risk, raise flags, and resolve issues throughout project execution.
- Act as a liaison across client platforms, ensuring alignment and understanding of interdependencies.
- Supervise and communicate project status with the team, collaborators, and senior management.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, including kickoffs, design reviews, standups, and retrospectives.
- Provide design enablement guidance as a strategic partner to help teams adopt the design system.
- Lead or collaborate with UX team leadership in project decision-making, including requirements gathering and resource allocation.
- Handle project details such as meeting agendas, key decisions, action items, and relevant project files.
- Uphold UX standards and best practices while identifying areas for improvement.

Salary Range : A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $75-85 / hr.
