Technical Support Engineer
Our client is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for their Dallas, TX location on a contract basis. On site; local candidates only.
The Technical Support Engineer willbe responsible for providing deskside and phone support to employees at all levels. Strong communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer
- Configuring and shipping equipment and computers
- Maintenance of computer inventory
- Assisting with technology assets documentation
- Collaborating with Human Resources on onboarding / offboarding requirements
- Processing new hire access requests in various internally managed applications (Active Directory, SharePoint, etc.)
- Performing new hire orientation
- Acting as main point of contact for IT equipment collection and employee access termination requests
- Answering incoming IT related calls
