SOLON Corporation, a leader in the design and installation of commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic systems in the southwest US, is seeking experienced Operators / Excavators to join its team.
Location : Tucson or Phoenix, AZ
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $22.00-$25.00 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY
Equipment operation in support of the installation of solar power plants.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating a variety of equipment, including but not limited to skid steers, mini-excavators, forklifts, backhoes, etc., as well as using hand tools
- Trenching, excavating, and grading
- Mounting solar modules
- Minor concrete and paving work
- Miscellaneous construction site tasks as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS
The work can be physically demanding, working frequently in an outdoor environment in various weather and working conditions. May be subjected to extreme weather conditions and terrain as well as physical circumstances involving extensive climbing, lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces. Requires weekday and, possibly, weekend work on assigned sites and performing work supporting those assigned sites. Assigned sites may also require travel, overnight, or extended stays. Sites typically are in the Southwestern United States.
