Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree is an advantage but not required
4 years of experience in the build, test, and calibration of complex electromechanical systems. Previous experience in semiconductor, automotive, medical equipment, or automation equipment industries preferred
Must be able to work in a clean room environment
Experience calibrating and troubleshooting stages, motors, swapping out failed boards, etc.
Hands on experience using Oscilloscopes and DVM analysis tools and equipment is preferred
Ability to use and manipulate a variety of fine adjustment hand tools, torque wrenches and calipers
Must have more mechanical aptitude than electrical
Responsibilities :
Perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at system level.
Determine and may develop methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
Test and troubleshoot assemblies and / or final systems, and complete rework on assemblies and / or systems as a result of testing.
Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Perform ongoing daily work with minimal instruction, and with general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
May provide work assignment direction and technical training to peers.
