Key responsibilities include developing and evaluating manufacturing methods, optimizing workflow and production efficiency, overseeing tool design, providing technical support, and collaborating with teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years in manufacturing or hydraulics/fluid power.
- Proficient in CNC programming, including creating, modifying, and optimizing complex machining programs.
- Experience with new product launches and automation projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Background in training and supporting LEAN initiatives.
- Knowledge of PLC and PivotWare programming is a plus.
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, processes, and equipment.
- Optimize workflow, workforce standards, and production efficiency.
- Oversee tool and gauge design for the Machining Business Unit.
- Provide technical support through manufacturing documentation.
- Collaborate on tooling strategies for efficient production.
- Assist in selecting and evaluating equipment, materials, and parts.
- Estimate production times, staffing, and costs for decision-making.
- Partner with teams to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Apply statistical methods to assess future manufacturing needs.
- Manage operational budgets and resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate engineering team members.
