What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer position at SoloPoint Solutions?
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2-8 years of experience in programming industrial controls for manufacturing process equipment, robotics, or other automated tools
- PLC, HMI, and motion programming skills are required
- AutoCAD and at least one of the following programming languages : Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, Ignition, etc.
- Experience selecting components and creating Bill of Materials for equipment projects
- Knowledge of Ladder Logic, VFDs, motors, networking and communication protocols, etc.
- Customer-facing experience is an advantage in this role; otherwise, must be a strong communicator
