About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Waitstaff Dishwasher to join our team at Solstice Senior Living at Groton, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. They will also assist with food preparation and serving, as well as maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This role requires a desire to work with senior, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food handling certification.
• Experience working with seniors.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner.
• Assist with food preparation and serving as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.

Skills:

As a Waitstaff Dishwasher, you will use your attention to detail and strong work ethic to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally, your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist with food preparation and serving will be essential to the success of our dining program.
